The Shifting Tides

The Shifting Tides is a quest for level 30-60 in Stormsong Valley. It is step 4 of 15 in the Defense of Fort Daelin storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Stormsong Valley at 35.0, 47.7. It rewards 2,050 experience and money.

Description

I'm no tidesage, but even I can tell that whatever you have there is probably not a good sign for the bastion.

There's one of those Tortollans, Rikal, who's been helping us figure out a solution to whatever the naga are planning in front of the levee. He'd probably like to see this.

Commander Kellam is standing in the middle of what looks like a long bridge (a levee which holds the water back from the mud flats)... going on the road from the village to the large fort up on the hill towards the north

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Caught in the NetStormsong Valley · Level 30-60

When the naga force first arrived, there were a handful of the local fishermen out on boats. One of our scouts reports that most of them have been captured and are currently being kept in cages around the beach. Free any of them you happen to find and point them back here.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Facing the InvadersStormsong Valley · Level 30-60

While we try to figure out what to do with those channelers, we'll have to take shots where we can get them. Our men could use some assistance retaking parts of the lower walls. Kill some naga for me, would you?
