There's a nice symbiosis between these three quests (which you'll get together).
Use the fake carrots on the Twitchheel Hoarders to make your way inside their burrow, thus completing Crouching Carrot, Hidden Turnip.
Once inside, grab all the sacks of stolen hops to complete Thieves to the Core. If you're a stealther, avoid the stinky turnips, as they'll expose you. Twitchheel Sleepyheads will not fight you if you avoid them, so watch out you don't step on them. If you aggro Hoarders, don't despair: throw at them another fake carrot and wait for them to despawn (in the meantime they'll keep attacking you).
Make your way into the deepest part of the burrow and fight Chufa. You'll be alone for a little while, and after she drops to 75% or so, Chen will appear to aid you. Finish her and make your way to the surface to complete your quests.

There's a couple of entrances outside behind the building the questgivers are at. This will lead underground where you will find the hops, can throw the fake carrots to not get mobbed, and find the den-mother. She's not that hard of a fight. She will spit fire in front of her but as long as you're behind her she won't shoot it at you. At least, she didn't at me. But, Chen will help you when she's almost defeated. Fairly easy fight.

What to do
Description
We've dealt with the alpha males. Now, the alpha female. Virmen aren't terribly selective when it comes to breeding, but most broods will still have a dominant mother figure. She's usually bigger, meaner, and tougher than anyone else in the brood. You know, I wouldn't mind testing my skills against a warren-mother. Mind if I fight alongside you?

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Crouching Carrot, Hidden Turnip
Uncle Chen's still got his eye on me, which means I won't be wandering off any time soon. I guess it's up to you to take these turnips... I mean, "carrots"... into the Twisted Warren and deliver them for me. It should be pretty simple.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Legacy
I'd say we've earned our reward. I can't wait to taste what Mudmug's been brewing.
