Hope Springs Eternal

Hope Springs Eternal is a quest for level 15-35 in Valley of the Four Winds. It is step 37 of 44 in the Krasarang Wilds storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Valley of the Four Winds at 19.5, 56.9. It rewards 600 experience and money.

Description

The Shado-Pan are likely dealing with similar outbreaks elsewhere in Pandaria.

Seek out Loon Mai, the Shado-Pan Watch Commander in Stoneplow on the western end of the Valley of the Four Winds. Let him know that we have the situation here under control; the Shado-Pan need not send any aid.

Quite the opposite, in fact - I will be sending many of my followers on pilgrimage, to bring a message of hope to those in need.

Thank you again, <name>. Farewell.

For some reason, currently this quest is not always offered when it should be -- likely in conflict with doing other quests before/along side it. Upon finishing all quests in the Krasarang Wilds and Valley of the Four Winds, I found it being offered to me and turned it in at Stoneplow (Plays a NYI cinematic, which should occur in the later parts of Valley of the Four Winds story line, but I had done all the post-cinematic parts already)

Instead of looking at what quests to complete, it might be more useful to look at the people you help instead. You need to help

  • [npc=56312] and the farmers at Thunderfoot Fields

  • [npc=56133], [npc=56138], [npc=56474] and their journey across Valley of the Four Winds

  • [npc=56113] and his vision of the Vale

  • [npc=56111] and her search for the Hidden Master

  • [npc=56115], [npc=58410] and the despair-ridden Zhu's Watch

  • [npc=56112] and his efforts to help the Horde/Alliance

  • (Alliance)[npc=58745], [npc=58821] or (Horde)[npc=58607], [npc=58114] and the pools of youth

  • [npc=59138] in the battle to take back the Temple of the Red Crane

This is because the fight against the mantids has everyone you helped coming back to help you fight back.

By the time you get this quest, you'll have almost done all of Mighty Roamin' Krasaranger and Rally the Valley except for the out of the way quests at Nesingwary's Safari and Nayeli Lagoon.

  • Warn StoneplowValley of the Four Winds · Level 15-35

My father gave me his life. Tyrande gave me her trust. My sentinels gave me their allegiance. It is time I repaid them all. With Brojai dead we can mop up the remaining mogu. The next threat is the mantid. Go north to Stoneplow and lend them your help.

After this quest

  • The Swarm BeginsValley of the Four Winds · Level 15-35

Without the wall to protect us, we barely stand a chance. If you hadn't gathered so many people to help us, we wouldn't have a prayer. Check in with Captain Oakenshield - he should be up near the break in the wall. Kill as many mantid as you can on the way there. If we win, we win.
