TheWoWDBYou don't have to do this at the Endmire, it will pop up wherever the mites are. I did it in The Banewood so I could combine it with another WQ.
There are quite a few of them near where the [npc=160821] spawns.
The fruits had a really low drop rate sadly.

As of today, I did the quests and got a fruit drop for every mite I killed. It might have been buffed from low drop rate.
