What to do
Description
If you want to be called a true hunter, you'll need to learn the art of trapping. Fortunately, I happen to be an expert in it. First, you will need to gather supplies from the surrounding area so you can fashion a proper freezing trap. Herbert can supply you with a mote of ice. Scavenge the area for other materials. You will need the trap to handle another issue that has recently arisen.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Druid's Form
Thank you for rescuing me, <name>. Allow me to aid you in your druidic studies. To escape from the pit, I took on the form of a stag. I may know of a way you can learn to do the same. Come with me. There is an ancient druid stone nearby. Let us use it to commune with the wilds.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Hunting the Stalker
Now that you have your trap, we can move onto the true problem at hand. A strange creature not native to this island has been stalking our camp. I think we should capture it and see how it can help us. Set the freezing trap within these ruins to lure it out. We'll see just what we are dealing with.
