Alice is extremely bugged in the beta right now (for Horde at least) as she phases out when you go upstairs. Stay downstairs immediately in the entrance doorway and use the macro...

/tar alice
... and make sure you have "Interact with Target" set in your targeting keybinds.

Jump onto the highest barrel stack just inside the doorway on the right as you enter. Hit your interact with target key.

This can be a bit hit and miss and you may lose targeting of Alice by being a step or two either way.

It might not work if you play a short race, I tested it on an Orc who seems to be tall enough to talk to Alice thru the ceiling. Seems to work for all races with a bit of barrel hopping.

The woman is lying on the bed upstairs,

However there is a perky pug called Rooby Roo.

If you buy 3 snacks called [item=114835] from the chef [npc=82432] standing inside the room where the stairs lead to the basement.

Give Rooby one, then he starts to move follow him, when he stop give him another and follow again, At the last one he will show you to a pile of "doggy stuff"
Inside of that, there is a treasure. :)

Description

I don't know what happened. My crew and I must have been the first to fall. My wife, the innkeeper, is in the same stupor you found me in. I can feel it... and there are others with her. Please, give the townsfolk peace and show their essences to my wife. That should bring her back from that cold abyss.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • I See Dead PeopleSpires of Arak · Level 30-40

Th... they're ghosts! All of them! Bryan was one of my best friends. Something is clouding his mind; we need to snap him out of it and get to the bottom of this! He was always obsessed with his work. Maybe showing him one of his schematics would help. One of the spectral laborers might have one.

I... I remember now. Watch Commander Branson told us to stay in the inn... he said we would be safe here. Then... Then that THING broke through and slaughtered everyone! The last thing I remember seeing was it descending into the larder.
