A Quick Ear Hustle

A Quick Ear Hustle is a Horde-only quest for level 10-60 in Mechagon. It is step 2 of 19 in the Expedition to Mechagon storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Tiragarde Sound at 65.6, 64.6. It rewards 8,150 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Bad news. We're late.

The Alliance was already crawling all over the vault when we got here.

Lucky for us, some big commotion inside sent some of 'em running for the hills.

Most of 'em are still down in that vault, though, including that crazy braggart Tinkmaster Overspark.

Let's give 'em a few more minutes to clear out, so we don't have to go in guns blazing.

This was bugged for me. After the cutscene, the quest turnin was phased. I abandoned it, and the quest accept was also phased. I had to quit wow and re open to get the quest back. I also had to quit wow and re open to turn the quest in after the cutscene.

I was having difficulty triggering the scene to start once I was behind the "fake rock" which was actually the wooden rock beside the fake trees. THEN I had to roll around until the cursor changed to a hand and clicked on it. I believe it was on the rock. Once I clicked on it, the scene started.

Heya, <name>. I was just tellin' Skaggit that I was hoping I'd run into you up here! I caught wind of an Alliance operation into some old vault that opened in Tiragarde Sound.

  • This is Our Vault NowMechagon · Level 10-60

Looks like the coast is clear with Overspark gone. Let's get inside that vault and see what's really going on here. Mechagon or not, there'd better be some quality hardware in there to make this trip worth our time.
