As of 10.1.5 if you leveled in Legion Chromie time your followers are too low level to complete these missions with a high % rate. I had to level them to 43-44 to increase my success.

As of now, you can undertake them concurrently. Beginning one mission will cause the next to appear. You do not have to wait for completion before starting the next. I'm not sure which patch this change occurred in.
This is a series of 5 sequential war table missions that take an hour each to complete. You cannot do them concurrently, you will only be offered one at a time.
If you complete one and another one doesn't appear in your mission list, close the list and open it again, and the next one should be listed.

Description
Our preparations for conjuring the Steeds of the Damned are nearly complete. Salanar the Horseman has given us a list of the remaining components. The ritual of conjuring requires five unholy essences known as the Aggregates of Anguish. I have taken it upon myself to organize the necessary missions to obtain these components. Use the mission table to assign your chosen champions to the task.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Advancing the War Effort
The quest for the Four Horsemen is of the utmost importance, however we must turn our attention to the warfront. Our continued success on the field of battle has shaken the Burning Legion and as a result, they have increased the frequency and intensity of their assaults.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Vault of the Wardens: A Masterpiece of Flesh
Ah, Deathlord! What a pleasant surprise! It is not often that you visit my workshop of blood and flesh. Actually, I have something quite special to show you. I have been developing a new type of abomination that mixes the flesh of demons with that of humans.
