The circled area of the world quest on the mini-map contains the items you need. The Crafter's Basket has sparkles/is highlighted. On the other side of the path (from the basket) there's an Anvil and a Forge. Especially the forge is odd since most molten metal doesn't glow blue...

There is a forge and anvil behind Fenae the engineering supplies vendor (for the Ardenweald daily that came up today) . It's the big circle with a blue x across it and the small blue thing next to it.
Thank you! The glowing blue forge in the tree trunk got me. My character made the anvil striking motion and anvil noises on the forge, but still not close enough to the anvil for the second step. /shrug Anvil is also glowing blue
