It should be noted you can build up a sizeable chunk of XP with this quest if you are just trying to level as fast as possible(say, on an alt) and aren't worried about rep or storyline. If you are rested, the monstrosities give 6250 xp at 116, 5882 xp at 117, and 5990 xp at 118. There is an area where 3 of them patrol within a short distance of each other, and they respawn so fast that you can continually kill all 3 just riding back and forth in a line. No waiting on respawn times, by the time you kill the 3rd one the first 2 have respawned. The quest item continues to work as long as the quest isn't turned in, and since quests at this level tend to give 17-20k xp, killing 3 or 4 of these is worth 1+ quests. Killing 4 of these can be done in under 3 minutes, which is faster than most quests can be done, especially considering the ride to and from the questgivers.

Use quest item on elite dinosaurs in the area.
It will make them week and you can easily kill them.
