Burning Ground

Burning Ground is a quest for level 10-80 in Emerald Dream. It is step 5 of 8 in the Druids of the Flame storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Emerald Dream at 40.8, 47.5. It rewards 9,500 experience and money.

Description

We allowed ourselves to be distracted. We thought the Druids of the Flame had followed us into the Dream, when clearly they arrived before we did.

With Amirdrassil so close at hand, we cannot allow them to plant their ashen roots here. Release their prisoners. Ransack their supplies. Do whatever you can to ensure that this burning corruption does not spread further.

I chose the Spirited Stag's Waistguard (mail waist) as a reward and
received the appearance of the other piece (Spirited Stag's Cuffs) as well.

"You will be able to choose one of these rewards"

You DO get one item, but you get both appearances. That's two rewards, to me! 😁
It wouldn't make sense for someone to accidentally get both, just from choosing the mail or waist option - particularly because it looks like a set we'll all eventually get anyway, but
stranger things have happened.

It might just be that each person gets both appearances, regardless of choice.
What have other people chosen and received?

😎
EDIT: It has been the same, through the other steps of the quest-line.
You choose one item, but get both appearances.

That is every comment on this page.

  • The Smoldering CopseEmerald Dream · Level 10-80

Andi'thur tells me of smoke rising from a grove to the west. Norana's new allies are not exactly the subtle sort. I do not care what her motivations are. I will not allow her to set another inch of this land ablaze. Ride for the western groves.

After this quest

  • Grim ReprisalEmerald Dream · Level 10-80

The Druids of the Flame will not allow you to proceed unfettered once your intentions here become clear. They are my kin, my brothers and sisters under Elune... But they seek to undo all that we have toiled for. Their machinations would condemn countless lives to an all-consuming inferno.
