Hostage Situation

Hostage Situation is a quest for level 45 in Suramar. It is step 5 of 8 in the Missing Persons storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Azsuna at 69.1, 37.4. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 3,050 experience and money.

Description

Our own people, sacrificed to the Legion!

We need to intercept a transport if we intend to put an end to this trade. I'm afraid this does mean you will be playing the part of a captive, my friend.

Before voicing your concerns, try to have a little faith.

We will follow behind in one of Deline's boats and break you out once we know where they are going.

Go to the harbor and find a group of captives. Stand among them. Allow yourself to be taken.

We will not be far.

so if you're like me and rush off to felsoul hold without becoming a prisoner, just abandon the quest and pick it up again, then just wait there like you're suppose to do :p

Go to the central dock and find there a group of chained prisoners. Interract with them, there a jailer will appear and chain you to another prisoner. Now you are about to ride. Also, you dont need to run to the dock mounted, there's a violet rune painted on the floor, Slowfall rune, interract with it and you'll be sended to the dock.

This can bug out if you just fly to the prisoners.
Next to the questgiver, at the edge of the tower, is a slowfall rune on the ground. Interact with it to get thrown down to the prisoners at the dock. Then it should work.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

Missing PersonsSuramar · Level 45
Our new friend brings us some disturbing information. She claims to have seen a large number of citizens dragged from Starcaller Retreat in chains. Their destination appears to be Astravar Harbor. Those taken to the harbor have yet to return, however. Worse yet, the area is now overrun with demons.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

In the Business of SoulsSuramar · Level 45
We will hold our position here while you find and slay the demon responsible for this camp. Ending Aargoss will not permanently stop this smuggling operation, but it may slow them down long enough for us to find another way to help these people. Go quickly. He is somewhere atop this ridge.
