Hunting on Glass

Hunting on Glass is a quest for level 80 in K'aresh. It is step 7 of 15 in the Desert Power storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in K'aresh at 64.1, 47.0. It rewards 11,750 experience and money.

Description

Violent scavengers of the Void have been drawn to Dimensius's aura to feast upon the scraps he will leave behind. This presents a problem for our Wastelander friends. Scavenging is their job.

They could handle these beasts--I would not be seeking to ally with them if they couldn't. But why not give them a gift, and show them you are their equal--no, their superior in combat?

to anyone whose quest stopped registering kills for one/both of the mobs:

just fly back to Xal'atath and see if she has a yellow "?" on her - I spent like 10 mins killing more Void Terrors bc mine was stuck at 3/4 but after flying back to Xal it let me just turn in the quest anyway (I also did a /reload, not sure if that was necessary)

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

  • Tempest CleftsK'aresh · Level 80

The Wastelanders were once the oracles of the Worldsoul of K'aresh. They were so proud and strident about their oaths. Now they scavenge the ruins like animals. Even rats have their uses. Gather void cleft essences for me. I have an idea of how we might sway the fallen oracles to our cause.

After this quest

  • Enemies of EnemiesK'aresh · Level 80

The Wastelanders have made camp in the ruins of old K'aresh. A sanctuary from the ravenous beasts of the Void that stalk the wastes of K'aresh. A bulwark against outsiders. If a hostile entity were to enter their camp, you could defeat it--then they would respect you.
