K'aresh That Was

K'aresh That Was is a quest for level 80 in K'aresh. It is step 14 of 15 in the Desert Power storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in K'aresh at 75.8, 34.3. It rewards 8,850 experience and money.

Description

The Tabiqa has not been attempted for thousands of years. It was clear that the Devouring War destroyed K'aresh.

And yet, looking at this dome... they have recreated so much that I thought lost forever--fresh water, clean air, even the zaranit flowers I thought extinct. Does the Harbinger speak the truth?

No. I didn't break my oath and abandon the Worldsoul. K'aresh is gone.

The buds are small purple flowers on the ground that give a hand icon (not the white tall fluffly flowers with a gear wheel)

To get heartspring water go to the very top of the waterfall there is a tiny whirlpool that you can click.

ok so patch launch day I was aiming for the ones on the minimap, don't, they don't work. Wander around and look for the purple flowers near the trees, if they sparkle they work, if they don't, ignore it, they are unique to you. Took me about 5 mins to get all 6

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Restoring HopeK'aresh · Level 80

This dome is a reasonable facsimile of K'aresh. We will find no better place for Soul-Scribe to hear the Worldsoul's song. And yet, as Dimensius grows in power, even the Oasis succumbs to the Void. I can feel the rifts tearing open. Their energies will disrupt this delicate ritual.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The TabiqaK'aresh · Level 80

My followers long for the days when they were oracles. They yearn to hear the Song of K'aresh. I am a realist. The evil of the Ravel, of Dimensius--they have destroyed the beauty that was our Worldsoul. But you have gathered the items for the Tabiqa. So I will attempt it.
