The mobs you need to kill are not highlighted that you need to kill them ingame.
But they are around 63.23, 68.87 in dread wastes.
The mobs that you do need to kill have a poisonous fume coming off them and they have a buff called Infected.

It appears if you log out before completing this quest, the buff that allows you to see the infected animals disappears. Your options if this happens are either to abandon and re-accept the quest, or just kill animals in the area until you get all the ones you need (some of them will be infected, but not all).

Description

The Empress's genemancers play with dangerous toys. To the south, they are injecting local wildlife with pheromone-laden parasites, in an attempt to create monstrous mutations for war. Carelessly, they have allowed their parasitic worms to escape into the local ecosystem. Left unchecked, the infection will spread from one animal to another, until we have an outbreak. I will inject you with a mild toxin. With it, you will be able to identify infected creatures. Kill the carriers at once.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
