Lightning Infused Relics

Lightning Infused Relics is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Howling Fjord. It is step 32 of 162 in the Howling Fjord storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Howling Fjord at 75.0, 65.5. It rewards 3 reward items, 2 reputation rewards, 5,150 experience and money.

Description

Your construct is ready to go. All abilities have been given a once over and I've programmed the machine to both comprehend and speak the language of the titans.

Take the construct to Baelgun's Excavation Site, due south of here, and collect data from the lightning infused relics that litter the site. Remember to bluff any iron dwarves that suspect your construct to be a fake. And don't forget about rocket jumping from rune to rune to get around in there!

Get on the table when you're ready!

You just trained for this mission. Walk over to around 73 68 and start working your way down.
Collect data just like you did in training. If one of the Iron Runes question you use your bluff skill.
After finishing mission or if your golems health gets low use a pad to launch yourself to the top.

You can get a new suit by clicking on the work bench again.

While you are safe from the other constructs in this suit, there are two things to watch out for: the earth elementals that wander the dig site and answering/bluffing a dwarf too slowly. The earth elementals will attack you and you only have a few seconds to use bluff before the dwarves aggro as well.

  • Iron Rune Constructs and You: The BluffHowling Fjord · Level 10-30

You always gotta have a contingency plan in case your main plan backfires! That's why I've built in some anti-intelligence systems into the construct. Your shiny new ride might rouse some suspicion while you're at Baelgun's excavation site. That's what your bluff ability is for!

After this quest

  • The Delicate Sound of ThunderHowling Fjord · Level 10-30

The cavern that we opened at Baelgun's was the one place that most steered clear of... Can't say I blame 'em. The sound of thunder shot out of that cave, <name>! Loud, booming thunder! I think near the end, it was abandoned by all.
