Just use the soft foam sword toy [item=137663] to drop it's health without killing it
Was just leveling an alt in Duskwood for the first time, doing "The Fate of Morbent Fel", and wondered why my level 30 prot warrior was having such a hard time with the quest, how any non-tank was supposed to survive fighting endless swarms of ghouls, and why, upon killing Morbent, he didn't drop his own remains.
Then I realized I was in the wrong place. :D

What to do
Description
<The pieces fit, and the holy artifact is restored, gleaming with sacred light. This should let you defeat Morbent Fel's dark magic.> <Further down the tunnel, away from the direction you came from, a heinous cackle rings out. It's the clattering laugh of a lich. Morbent Fel is just ahead!>
