No Hesitation, No Surrender

No Hesitation, No Surrender is a quest for level 60 in Maldraxxus. It is step 4 of 14 in the Do Not Forget storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Bastion at 38.9, 55.2. It rewards 10,200 experience and money.

Description

I cannot fathom where the constructs acquired these reinforcements, but we are once again outnumbered. I seethe at the thought of my fallen disciples.

You will make this right.

The renegades have established a foothold in the northern region of the temple. Their necrotic magic has granted them a shield, defending them from ranged assault. Disable it.

Let nothing impede you. This is the way of Courage.

After inspecting the bulwarks, stay for the three waves of attackers. Killing the last one, the elite, disables the whole thing and completes the quest. I stealthed out and couldn't figure out where the final bulwark was. Re-examining one of the bulwarks restarted the sequence.

It was insulting that Xandria thought the two man power trip of the Ashbringer & the King Slayer would need assistance. I spit on your offer of aid. We Maldraxxi, Defenders of the Shadowlands, Lords of War in life & death, don't need overgrown pretentious fairies to aid us or tell us how to take care of our affairs. Just step into the back ranks with your girly night fae & venthyr colleagues and worry about not ruffling those pretentious wings while the real warriors restore peace & order to the realms.

  • Peace by PieceMaldraxxus · Level 60

These Maldraxxi fiends have reoccupied my temple. They have entrenched this resurgence with shields powered by necromancy. My disciples--the ones who were not captured and executed by your treacherous compatriots--report the core of a necrotic bulwark to the south.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Don't Cross CourageMaldraxxus · Level 60

We have rendered the enemy holdouts defenseless. My disciples will begin preparations to purge the corruption that your errant kind have left on our home. But more still remain in the inner sanctum of the temple. Their defenses prevent us from flying in en masse, but I can secure a foothold myself.
