Clear as Crystal

Clear as Crystal is a quest for level 10-53 in Bastion. It is step 7 of 9 in The Temple of Courage storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Bastion at 39.8, 55.2. It rewards 7,200 experience and money.

Description

This Anima Conflux is completely drained of anima! Just a heavy hunk of metal!

Not your fault, of course. Not at all. But we need to charge it!

The Maldraxxi have extractors. Big green crystals, can't miss them. They're using it to drain anima from fallen kyrian. Very bad!

We can use them to charge the conflux, then our colossus here will be functional again!

To complete this quest you need to drain Necrotic Extractors to empower the Anima Conflux.

You need to find some Necrotic Extractors and interact to them to empower conflux.
Necrotic Extractors look like dark green crystals floating above the ground (or ruined on the ground).
Btw there is a good spot at 37.98 59.67 where 3 crystals spawn periodically next to each other.

  • Double TapBastion · Level 10-53

The House of Rituals occupies the southern half of the temple. Unlike the constructs, their key advantage in battle is their endless army of risen fighters. Thankfully, the Archonic Resonator we recovered will take care of it.

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Final CountdownBastion · Level 10-53

If the necromancer's brood descends upon us fully before the colossus is charged, we will perish. There is no question. We must keep his attention until Mikanikos's work is complete. He believes that the day is already won -- that we are pawns to be toyed with.
