Of No Consequence

Of No Consequence is a Horde-only quest for level 5-30 in Silverpine Forest. It is step 51 of 57 in the Silverpine Forest storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Silverpine Forest at 45.4, 73.1. It rewards 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

Our forces in Pyrewood were recently taken by way of sneak attack. The 7th Legion managed to infiltrate the town with their scouts, ultimately decimating our troops.

The Dark Lady has tasked us with a rescue mission. We are to find survivors and get them out of Pyrewood safely. If any soldiers live they are likely worthless, but we do as the Dark Lady commands.

Let's get this nonsense over with, <name>. Pyrewood is directly southwest of the Forsaken Front.

Yeah it was kind of funny how sadistic this quest was. The best coincidental dialogue I came across was actually my final "rescue":

Cowering Trooper says: Is it safe?
Lord Godfrey pulls out his rifle and shoots.
Lord Godfrey says: He died in battle. Bow your heads...

I cackled at that.

I was running through the quests in Silverpine on my 54 hunter. When I got to this one, there were no quest givers anywhere near me, nothing in the area of Sylvanas. But when I talked to the flight master (was going to fly to Undercity for stuff to do), the trio suddenly appeared. Just an FYI if it might help someone.

Our enemies are becoming smarter - adapting to our tactics. Recently an attack was made upon Pyrewood Village, southwest of here. Our troops occupying the town were decimated, of course, but what made the attack especially interesting was the racial composition of the attacking force.
