When you get this quest, do a 180 and go straight up the rocky ramp behind you. You'll be in a series of rocky canals full of Mana-corrupted Waterspawn. Head into the water and take the passage on the right. Follow the canal and you'll end up at a pool with the boss in the middle.

Fight the Azurefall Guardian and then when its health is low, use the ritual focus. The guardian will purge itself of the corruption, and then you have to fight Congealed Corruption, which has almost twice the health of the guardian. You don't have to worry about accidentally killing the guardian - it will stop at 1% and won't die, so you might want to just dps it down fast and then use the focus at that point.

Recommend doing Something in the Water at the same time, since you'll probably end up killing half a dozen of the water elemental mobs on your way to the boss anyway.
