Despite the quest saying "Purge the naga", you don't have to only kill naga. You can also click on highlighted gray statues of Azhara to progress the quest bar. The statues aren't huge, just about double the height of a void elf.

From what I have seen, it is a lot easier to go to 76.71 36.16 to complete this quest. The is where Lady Silazsi paths. There is naga on the outer rim and inner rim of the circle you can kill.

I would suggest watching her path and starting just behind her, moving counterclockwise and killing the naga as you trail her. By the time you get back to where you started, the naga will have respawned. This beats running all over and even looking for statues. I have found this a more efficient way to complete this quest. And you never have to deal with Lady Silazsi.

After turning this quest in, you will then get The Javelins of Azshara where you will have to go back and kill her and loot a javelin.

Location of the statues I found:

  • /way 75, 41 (downstairs inside the hallway with the columns)

  • /way 76, 41 (upstairs, at the end of the hallway with the columns)

  • /way 75, 37 (on the ground between the round platform, full of elite naga, and the outside ring of columns that hugs the back left of the platform)

  • /way 75, 33 (same place but on the right hand side of the platform)

  • /way 78, 42 (inside the doorway to the building next to the Horde FP)

  • /way 81, 39 (at the end of the upstairs hallway with the columns)

If you're Horde, there's also one tucked right in next to the FP, but I wouldn't try getting it as Alliance.

I'm sure there's more, but I stopped looking as I was finished with the quest.

Description

Azshara always did need everything to be about her. Everything had to have her name on it. Everything was for her glory. She forgot our people's connection to Elune. Or perhaps she believed it did not matter? Azshara and her minions have too long defiled this place with their heresy. Let us show them Elune's vengeance.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Help Them See the TruthNazjatar · Level 50

The information you have gleaned concerns me, <name>. These spirits cling to this place because they still, even now, believe in Azshara and her reign. She sold their lives to the void and they still believe in her. I know we have concerns that outweigh this, but I cannot leave them here like this.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Javelins of AzsharaNazjatar · Level 50

These spirits keep speaking of the Javelins of Azshara. At first, I believed it to be referring to the handmaidens, who are currently holed up in Elun'alor. But -- now I think they are referring to the Javelins of Suramar. They were powerful weapons -- long thought lost.
