[item=129916] drops from [npc=28860] in [zone=4493]. You can get there from Chamber of the Guardian in Dalaran, take the portal to Wyrmcrest Temple. The dungeon entrance is under that temple, on the lowest floor, just go under big cracked ice. Coordinates are 60.0, 59.4
[item=129917] drops from [npc=62164] in [zone=6297]. You can get there by taking a portal from Dalaran to Vale of Eternal Blossoms (Pandaria) and then flying to Dead Wastes. The dungeon entrance is in the giant tree (north-west on the map). Coordinates: 39.0, 35.0

Be aware when you're heading to Obsidian Sanctum: Sartharion drops [item=43345]. This bag is UNIQUE. If you currently have one, either as one of your character's bags or as a bank bag, you will not be able to loot it off the boss, thus preventing you from skinning him. If you are using this bag, come up with a temporary solution and delete the bag before going to kill him. I found this out the hard way. I am using it as a bank bag. Luckily, I was fast enough to use Jaina's Locket to get back to Northrend's Dalaran, empty the bag in my bank, delete it, fly back to Obsidian Sanctum, loot the bag and skin him.
Just confirmed tonight with my monk that you can get the scale from Netherspite from old world Karazhan. Good luck to all!

Description
I know a ting or two about scales, but I'm losin' my edge. I been starin' at stormscales so long, I be forgettin' what de other kinds look like. I need ta look at a few special scales, for comparison. I need a nether dragon scale, a nice hot black dragonscale, and da thickest piece o' insect chitin you can find. Gotta get dese stormscales outta my head, bruddah.
