If you run into the farmhouse scouring the floor for the logbook in vain like I did, look up. The guy that drops it is above the entrance, so run to the back of the farmhouse and you'll see him. Of course, if you're not doing this at 80 like I am then you will probably aggro him and not have this problem :/
if u r lvl 85 like me just stand under him and jump up and down without having target on him then ull get aggro and he will jump down and u kan kill him after he landed ! if u kill him on the shelf or in mid air he cant be looted !
