Took me a couple times to figure out that you need to go out of the side door next to Lorna Crowley. You'll follow Mistmantle into the Cathedral area the back way.
No need to abandon the quest if you lost sight of Tobias. Just return to the quest giver and click on the option "Let's give this another try."

Description
It's true then? Gilneas has lost her favorite son. We will mourn when this is all over but not a day sooner. We will not allow ourselves the luxury of grief while the enemy still breathes Gilnean air. My father's men are ready to strike while we still have the Banshee Queen's trail. Just say the word if you're ready. Liam deserves swift vengeance.
