Push Them Out

Push Them Out is a quest for level 1-20 in Gilneas. It is step 89 of 100 in the Gilneas storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Gilneas at 70.9, 39.8. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 2,750 experience and money.

Description

The people are free, but the town is still occupied by the Forsaken. They're cut off from their main force, so if we're to drive them out, now's our chance.

Their leader, Executor Cornell, is known for his unbound ruthlessness. Also among them is Valnov the Mad, a so-called scientist who carries out inhuman experiments on villagers too old to work the mines.

Take care of them all.

Turning this quest in will result in you entering a phase where the only NPCs are at the Livery Outpost and in Gilneas City.

Further, all resource nodes - ore and herbs - will disappear.

So if you want to level your gathering skills more before you leave the relatively competition-less starting area, don't hand in this quest.

You're really not helping. The insta-respawns are still there and still annoying, so this quest can be really difficult on a squishier class (like my priest). And I've been playing since vanilla and have an 80 priest, so it's not an L2P issue.

  • Last MealGilneas · Level 1-20

I'm not dumb, <name>. I know what's ahead of us. Our people are going to go through those gates and fight against an enemy that is better trained, has more numbers and better weapons than us. Even if we succeed, it'll be at a great cost. For most of us, today's meal will be the last.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Battle for Gilneas CityGilneas · Level 1-20

The time has come, <name>. We've rallied and armed every available Gilnean. It is time to meet the enemy head on. Time to settle the score with Sylvanas and her Forsaken dogs once and for all. Liam is heading the assault from this gate.
