The heroic men and women of the 7th Legion stayed at the front of the ship to fight off storm drakes while the crew evacuated.
None of them have returned.

To find Knight-Captain Rhodes:
Run up the mountain starting at 33.1, 51.8.
Find the ramp that leads up the broken airship at 31.7, 54.7.
Cave entrance is at 31.4, 57.2 (Stormscale Cavern). He is right inside kneeling in some crackling electricity.
I wish engineers and first responders were a little clearer on directions!
Don't cross the river to the Forsaken camp and try to climb the rocks up to the Skyfire. That's not the hill Overspark is talking about for Lightning Rod where this quest is also located. You'll get almost up to the ship with a lot of effort, but be stuck and end up jumping down and returning to camp.
Rather, from the quest NPC's, bear right until you find a narrow path that goes up gradually and leads to the remains of the ship. Climb up to the very tip of the ship, then jump across into a cave where you will find [npc=92414].
If you're like me and were running around the cave looking for the 6th Dragoon, there is one outside the cave at 30.29, 35.02.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

<Overspark's tiny hands move like lightning, affixing coils and tubes to the device before cramming it into a parachute pack.> Put this on. Just up the hill you'll find the front half of the Skyfire - and the big nest of storm drakes it crashed into!

Hngghh! Nope, can't stand yet. It's all pins and needles. Small fries like this are usually no problem for the 7th, but we weren't prepared for their electrical attacks. Before I knew it, I was trapped in some kind of static field. Couldn't move a muscle until you came along.
Wreck of the Skyfire has 9 steps, from Supplies From the Skies to The Ancient Trials.
