I found a Crab mob I had to kill for a quest while swimming south along the river and I noticed that the crabs attack took off my swim speed buff so I abandon the quest and re take it to get buff but no more buffs so I had to walk =C

Tl;Dr version: Don't attack anything, just swim south.

Description

The symbols on this totem seem to translate much faster. The patterns and imagery all seem to blend into familiar words. You are fairly certain the totem is pointing you south, down the river. Something is at the bottom of the river itself.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Totem of TiktiAzuremyst Isle · Level 1-30

You begin to read the totem, better able to pronounce the words and phrases. Words start to form in your head. You think that the totem is telling you to go across the Crystalbrook river to the east. Perhaps your destination is on the other side of the river.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Totem of VarkAzuremyst Isle · Level 1-30

You no longer see unrecognizable symbology in the totems. The totem of Yor reads to you just as easily as your native tongue. The markings identify another furbolg den, due west of here.
