Twice Removed

Twice Removed is an Alliance-only quest for level 5-30 in Darkshore. It is step 11 of 55 in the Darkshore storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Darkshore at 42.9, 39.0. It rewards 3 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

We cannot condone reckless violence - it is not our nature. However, there are times when the consequences of avoiding battle are too tangible to ignore, as is the case with these naga.

When the earth in the area shattered, a small section of ruins rose to our east. These ruins once housed those loyal to Queen Azshara, and it seems her kind have returned in search of something.

Take this petrified root. You can use it on their fallen to raise ents to aid you. Deal with them and their leader swiftly.

At first I thought this was buggy. The way it works is head to 48 40 ish (lady Janira is about 35 yards east of there) kill a naga. near the naga that you killed, click the Petrified root. An ent will come out from the corpse, and run off and kill another naga. /repeat
Worked fine once I realized what it wanted me to do.

Kill the quest target Janira. Use the Petrified Root in your inventory while standing next to her corpse to call an ent. The ent will go for a Naga, kill the naga with the ent. While standing next to that Naga corpse use the Petrified Root again. Repeat this process until you've called forth 6 ents.

  • Ritual MaterialsDarkshore · Level 5-30

While we tend to Grimclaw, I would like you to peacefully gather some ritual materials for me from the nearby wildlife. I need whiskers from the moonstalkers to the west- pluck them from the sleeping ones and move away quickly. I need hair from the doe to the east, just avoid the stags.

I will tend to Grimclaw until his rest is done - he will be ready to return very soon. I have one more task for you while we wait... a favor to grant you, really, should you recognize it.
