To get this quest to become available, I did the following:

Threat from the Water - I don't know that you actually need this, but I did it first.
The Last Wave of Survivors - This opens up these quests:

The Buzzbox 413 quest turns into this chain:

The Corruption's Source opens after Buzzbox 723 is turned in. You do not have to do A Cure In The Dark.

For those like me who had trouble finding the location:

From Lor'danel, take the bridge near the flightmaster that leads South. At the road, turn left (East). Then you will cross a small bridge. After the small bridge turn right (North) and proceed overland (watching out for the bears). Proceed to 56.2, 27.2, where there are two torches, and a path going up a cliff and to the right. Follow this path as it leads along the cliff to the right until you come to some crates with two torches beside them (56.2, 29.6). The path turns left there and takes you further up to the cave and waterfall, which are at 56.8, 31.2. You will see a Grell or two as you approach.

[Edit] Here's a map to show approximately where you find the trail up the cliff:

What to do

StorylineDarkshore, step 6 of 55

Description

I rushed here as soon as I heard the news from Wizbang. I know who's behind this mess now. Zenn Foulhoof. He came over from Teldrassil after he was chased out for performing perverse magics. The kinds of corruption he employs are not welcome among my people, and it seems he's taken it a step further this time, perhaps as some form of revenge. Zenn's been given too many chances, it's time we remove this threat to all that is natural. Kill Zenn and his minions, and then find me back in Lor'danel.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Buzzbox 723Darkshore · Level 5-30

There are a couple other forms of wildlife that we've verified infected. It's actually good news that the crabs appear to have caught this from the bears - hopefully that means this all stems from one source. We need to focus our attention on those bears now.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Cure In The DarkDarkshore · Level 5-30

<Some unintelligible speech spews forth from the machine before you make out Wizbang's voice again.> Duskrats! They've been eating the duskrats! Those little buggers only come from one place, a cave against the cliff-face to the east.
