Wasted Lands

Wasted Lands is a quest for level 80 in K'aresh. It is step 4 of 9 in the In Search of Darkness storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in K'aresh at 78.9, 53.5. It rewards 1,450 experience and money.

Description

Illidan taught us that if we are to fight threats that acknowledge no limits, we must be willing to do the same. With his rage he tamed the power of the fel, and so will I, with the void.

A fragment from this world, touched by the All-Devouring, is held deep in the heart of North Sufaad. With the void essence Leona collected, and this fragment as a vessel, I will yoke the power of the void to my will.

Combining the strength of the illidari and the secrets of the ren'dorei will make me unstoppable.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Void HunterK'aresh · Level 80

The Void espouses all truths, <name>. And in none of them do I defeat Ramon'ta without some help. And here you are. My quarry is a cosmic worm known as Ramon'ta the Insatiable. It started out small enough, but with each void entity it feasts upon, it grows, and its power grows along with it.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Piece of Something GreaterK'aresh · Level 80

Seek out the Relictors. They comb through these wastes like carrion feeders, sifting through proof of their people's weakness in a misguided attempt to find strength.
