After you complete this last quest in the storyline, you get the Return to Lordaeron achievement and the [title=720] title.

Then all blood elves, night elves, and void elves on your account will have access to the Dark Ranger customizations. This means that when you go into the barbershop, you can choose red eyes and gray skin for your elf characters.

If you got the achievement on your hunter (doesn't have to be an elf), you can then go to your Legion class hall and purchase [item=191658].

There is no special message for Hunters when you complete the Return to Lordaeron storyline and earn Return to Lordaeron (Hidden Character Achievement)*. To buy the Ranger transmog set, [item=191658], go to [zone=7877] in Highmountain (Legion xpac).

Getting to [zone=7877]

If you've done the Legion starting quests:

  1. Make your way to Dalaran (over the Broken Isles) using the purple Dalaran hearthstone.

    • Go up the stairs to the flight point (Krasus' Landing).

    • Rubel says:

      To get to [zone=7877] faster talk to [npc=108868], she will teleport you there.

      [npc=108868] is a Tauren standing across the platform from the flight master. She provides an eagle who teleports you to [zone=7877].




  3. OR see the flight master. All flight master maps in the Broken Isles will show Hunters a flight point for Trueshot Lodge.

Otherwise try:


  • Using the portal to Aszuna in Pathfinder's Den. Look for the nearby Illidari Stand flight point at 44.7, 43.8 in Aszuna. This is faster than flying directly to the unmarked [zone=7877] in Highmountain.


[npc=103693]

The entrance to [zone=7877] is at 48.8, 39.2 in Highmountain. Inside turn right. It's dimly lit. Look for the worgen tauren surrounded by other players. Sells:

  • [item=191658]

  • [item=136780] so your pet won't keep fighting when you use Feign Death.

  • [item=136781]. Your pet will retrieve loot from your prey.

To return to Dalaran, go up the closest stairs and take the glowing portal back.


Notes: My hunter did basic Legion quests and acquired a legendary weapon before Shadowlands. I don't know how much or how little you have to do to access [zone=7877].

Description

Reclaiming these ruins means a lot to the Forsaken. Especially since the war ended, our people have needed something to hold onto, to give us purpose in the wake of everything that's happened to us. I saw Calia walk toward the throne room. That place holds many memories for her. Many ghosts. We should check on her.
