So just incase anyone else has this issue. I had my pet bar moved off to the left side of my screed and when I went to do this quest I didn't notice that when you click on the ammunition and it turns the cannon into a friendly target it uses your pet bar to fire at the gates. So just make sure you have your pet bar visible for this quest.

Note, this is NOT the same quest as Fire At Will!, which is in Blades Edge Mountains (Outland). If you're here for THAT quest, here's the solution: Use the ammo next to the cannon that is marked on your map. Then use your pet bar to fire "artillery on the warp gate" (green icon). Kill the imps as they come out and use the artillery icon on cooldown. It takes about 7 hits (or 70 seconds if you use it on cooldown) to destroy each gate. Repeat for the other cannon on your map.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Crystals Not IncludedKrokuun · Level 45

Turalyon is safe, and we can start to fight back. First things first, we must secure what supplies we can from the crash. Even though we are blessed by the Light, our ships still rely on crystal technology.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Locating the LongshotKrokuun · Level 45

We're going to need a bigger gun if we hope to free Xe'ra. One of the other bunkers crashed closer to the Xenedar. If Baraat was on it, he will have already begun surveying the area. Perhaps he's found the main cannon of the ship. If you head over that way, make sure he hasn't died, will you?
