Decommissioning Darkness

Decommissioning Darkness is a quest for level 73-75 in The Ringing Deeps. It is step 7 of 7 in the Routine Maintenance storyline, the final step. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Ringing Deeps at 54.8, 64.1. It rewards 12,400 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Decommissioning a machine is a rare necessity. It must be done with care and regret.

We put much of ourselves into our work. To destroy it is to destroy a part of ourselves. In doing so, we admit our failure to protect the Titans' work. But where stone rebels against stone, we must stand firm.

Imperative: Destroy it. Recover Arbauch's memory gem.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Couldn't help overhearing. Not to brag, but goblins are specialists in the field of rampaging robots. If that golem's as unstable as Danagh says, it'll be leaking all sorts of energy. Take this, run a few scans, and you'll find it. Oh, and be careful.
