If you're playing a class with a healing ability, such as a priest, it won't work. Only the provided first aid kit will give quest credit.

“A useful carrying case for supplies, even if no medkits are left.”
Item facts are the current retail client’s (ItemSparse); the specialisations for a pick-one item are the ones the Blizzard quest API lists; faction and currency text is the client’s own. Lowest listed price = the US commodity auction house now.

I'm glad you made it out in one piece. Judging by the nearby shipwrecks, I think it's safe to say the missing expedition ran aground here, too. We can't move until we've got the remaining survivors back on their feet. Unfortunately, our remaining supplies have been stolen by murlocs!
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
Captain Garrick went ahead to find survivors. It looks like she lit a fire. Meet her up ahead to see what she found. I'll look further within the island for survivors... and the source of the magic that attacked us.
The Missing Expedition has 70 steps, from Warming Up to Aiding the Dragon Isles.
Maps its steps are placed on (steps per map): Exile's Reach (49), Stormwind City (16), The Great Sea (3), The Waking Shores (2).
Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.
