There is a rare bug where new characters may get stuck on a ship with nowhere to go while on this quest.
The only known fix is to delete the character and go again (it may be related to skipping the cutscene? unsure).
Using the unstuck function doesn't work, and characters this new do not have Hearthstones yet.
Very unfortunate.

What to do
Description
I'm glad you made it out in one piece. Judging by the nearby shipwrecks, I think it's safe to say the missing expedition ran aground here, too. We can't move until we've got the remaining survivors back on their feet. Unfortunately, our remaining supplies have been stolen by murlocs! I need you to recover enough first aid supplies for the wounded. Then we can begin searching for the missing expedition.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
