Why is this being downrated? hes right. you need to search the first 2 basements, the third set of 3 houses has no basement, just kill the 2 cultists talking inside one of them and beak will spawn. btw beak spawns on the 3rd site you inspect, regardless of the order in wich you inspect them.
1) Stay in the Hovel area and follow the path north, it takes you where you want to go.
2) Facing away from the NPC quest giver facing up the path:
a] 46.0, 54.5 - First house on the left, basement
b] 48.5, 52.6 - basement
c] 46.0, 59.7 - inside the room3) follow on quest takes you into the basement (of 2c above).
The quest maybe easy but it took me a while to figure out where these houses were.
I hope this helps :)

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Cayden Dunwald
Cayden's the other twin. He's got a thirst too, but not for ale. I'm sure he's been havin' a grand time of it since the Twilight came to our doorstep. Gettin' some of that aggression out of his system mayhaps. I'm thinkin' the best place to go lookin for him is at market row, by the old smithy.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Anything But Water
Look, buddy. Either you're here to help me find some drink, or you're in the way. Why don't ya go down to the old storehouse and look downstairs. I had a mighty suspicion that ol' bookkeeper up in there was sneaking sips between pages. I bet he has a keg in his basement!
