"Gather some while I defend me bird. An' hurry! You Alliance wanks don't have a reputation for timely intervention, right?"
Did I read that right?

Quite clearly, Thordun still upset at the lack of teamwork in his last random dungeon group with Tugz, Pulla, Jackit and Shortstrokes all playing solo.
It doesn't mean something different in America, but Americans don't really use it. I've never heard anyone with an American accent call someone a "wank". That being said, I and a lot of other Americans know that it's used elsewhere (particularly Britain) as an insult. I think a lot of Americans don't have a good sense of how offensive it is because we don't use it, and if it's too offensive to be in WoW then whoever wrote the line probably just didn't realize how offensive it is because he's American.

What to do
Description
Look here, mate. She's on her last legs! If me bird dies, I'm as good as worthless. So make yerself useful. Here on the peninsula you can dig up thorny stankroots. Oh the smell will knock you on yer patoot but steeped in water it'll boil up into a right powerful cure-all. Gather some while I defend me bird. An' hurry! You Alliance wanks don't have a reputation for timely intervention, right?
