Into the Maw

Into the Maw is a quest for level 60 in Ardenweald. It is step 3 of 7 in the Daughter of the Night Warrior storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Maw at 44.4, 41.2. It rewards 1,000 experience and money.

Description

I have not seen Tyrande since she departed for Icecrown... but I see her in my dreams. She stalks a nightmarish landscape, brimming with the might of the Night Warrior.

Such power is too much for any mortal to bear for long. I shudder to think of the toll it has taken on my minn'do.

Highlord Fordragon has told me of the Maw. If you truly have braved its horrors before, then I ask that you guide me through them as well.

We must find Tyrande and convince her to let go of the Night Warrior's rage.

While you are looking to pick up this quest, and you hit the map to find out where it comes from ...... you will se a yellow "!" at far left of Oribos map. That ain't it ! Like it says ..... look for Shandris Feathermoon .... she has the quest (about 7 o'clock on the map).

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Daughter of the Night WarriorArdenweald · Level 60

In my dreams, I see many things. Elven souls tortured in the Maw. A warrior of the night consumed by vengeance. And... Ardenweald's destruction. These visions are ever shifting... ever vague. But I believe Tyrande Whisperwind is key to saving the night elves, as well as this realm.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • On the TrailArdenweald · Level 60

In my visions, I witnessed Tyrande cutting through an endless storm of malevolent, nightmarish beings. Up ahead... is that...? Yes. I believe it is the very place I saw. Come. It may hold a clue as to where my mother has gone.
