Justice for the Hyals

Justice for the Hyals is an Alliance-only quest for level 15-30 in Dustwallow Marsh. It is step 54 of 83 in the Dustwallow Marsh storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dustwallow Marsh at 68.2, 48.6. It rewards 2,050 experience.

Description

Although these Grimtotems were simply a nuisance to me, Captain Vimes will want to know of your deeds. Bring him the news that you have tracked down and dealt with those responsible for the burning of the Shady Rest Inn.

It's too late to save Jim Hyal's family, but perhaps the Grimtotems will think twice before attacking anyone connected to Theramore.

Okay so...I've completed all of the Dustwallow quests; except for this one. I've been searching all over the place for quite a while now, talking to characters, but I just can't get started on the Hyal one. Did I miss anything? (Draenei hunter..level 51 at the moment)

Ok, I'm also done with all other quests except this series.

The quest text mentions Shady Rest Inn. That means you need to travel to that place, which is at the border between Dustwallow Marsh and Barrens. You pick up three items and three quests there, and return back to Theramore to turn them in.

At this point, I still have some quests about a deserter named Reethe that Captain Vimes kept on sending me to find, including the quest The Deserter. After flying out again and back, I get sent to deal with the Grimtotem Clan once again, after having already finished the quests related to the achievement.

Vimes send me back to North Point, and I got the quests Confirming the Suspicion and Arms of the Grimtotems, which are actually prequels to the raptor-wrangling quest.

After finishing them, I get sent to Tabetha's farm, which, after Razing Direhorn Post, brings me to this quest.

In retrospect, you should begin Dustwallow Marsh questing with picking up the three items at the Shady Rest Inn. This storyline directly ties in with the Grimtotem one and the Black Dragon one. Doing them in conjunction would save you the most time.

  • Raze Direhorn Post!Dustwallow Marsh · Level 15-30

There's no scrying necessary to see the trouble my new "neighbors" are creating. And if this is the band that burnt down the Shady Rest Inn, as you claim, there's no reason to tolerate their presence any longer. Take this torch and raze their camp to the ground!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Peace at LastDustwallow Marsh · Level 15-30

I wish we had a way of letting James Hyal's wife and son know that we have brought their murderers to justice. <Captain Vimes produces a small wreath decorated with flowers.> There are some who say that their spirits will know, even if we cannot reach them.
