Jaina Must Know

Jaina Must Know is an Alliance-only quest for level 15-30 in Dustwallow Marsh. It is step 31 of 83 in the Dustwallow Marsh storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dustwallow Marsh at 66.3, 49.0. It rewards 2,050 experience.

Description

You must bring news of our findings to Lady Jaina without delay! If the Defias were transporting a prisoner, there's no telling who it might be or if the person is still alive!

One thing is for certain, <name>. The Defias wouldn't go to all this trouble for some petty grudge. Their prisoner must have been someone of importance. Lady Jaina would know better than anyone else what these findings mean. You'll find her at the top of the mage tower at Theramore's center.

With the destruction of Theramore in 5.0.5, Jaina can no longer be found where the quest marker points.

If you want to complete this quest you have to visit [npc=63546] who is just down the new bridge from Theramore. She will let you see Theramore as it was before the destruction... In other words you can complete Dustwallow Marsh Quests :D

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Recover the Cargo!Dustwallow Marsh · Level 15-30

Well, I was able to make enough repairs to this gear to let you dive for awhile, anyway. I wouldn't count on it holding out for a long time, though. The wreckage of the ship is strewn along the bottom from the east coast of this island out toward Alcaz Island.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Survey Alcaz IslandDustwallow Marsh · Level 15-30

It looks like Renn's hunch about Alcaz Island was right. We need to survey that island, but it would take a whole brigade of troops to fight our way in there.
