Miner Operation

Miner Operation is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-60 in Tiragarde Sound. It is step 2 of 4 in the It's Mine storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Tiragarde Sound at 75.6, 59.4. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

The mine is in real trouble. We've been excavating for a short while, but never seen anything like this. Azerite doesn't just get up and walk around.

If we are going to take the mine back, we're going to need more help. We'll need an engineer and an explosives expert. I have two in mind, sisters actually, but they are caught behind the river in all the chaos.

Locate the sisters and they'll help you with the next phase of the plan.

After you've found the two NPCs but before you go into the mine proper, you meet up with these two NPCs and turn in the mission. This is done in the building outside the mine entrance to the right.

If you go into the mine first, the mini-map makes it look like the mission turn-in is further into the mine, but it isn't.

Civil Technician Arena is up on the platform. If you go past it and around to the left, there are stairs to get up there.
To find Ordnance Handler Prim, go in the direction of her dot on the map. You'll have to go in the house and up the stairs and back outside to find her.

  • An Overrun MineTiragarde Sound · Level 10-60

It was horrible! I was in the mine nearby, just picking away at a rock and it jumped up and bit me in the neck! Since when can rocks walk around and bite people? I hightailed it outta there, but some crazy fools are sticking around trying to take the mine back.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Pinch of AzeriteTiragarde Sound · Level 10-60

I don't have time for idle chit chat! If you haven't noticed, rocks are running around doing who knows what?! How about you help out and retrieve my chemistry kit. While you're out, smash some of those creatures and collect their dust. Prim will need both of those for the next step of the plan.
