Nature's Remedy

Nature's Remedy is a Horde-only quest for level 30-60 in Vol'dun. It is step 4 of 8 in the A City of Secrets storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Vol'dun at 47.1, 75.6. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

Your friend doesn't have much time left. The scorpid venom is likely rotting his veins right now.

He will certainly meet death without a cure.

I will help.

The first ingredient I'll need is the root of the prickly plum cactus. Its natural healing properties will make a suitable base for the salve.

Deleted my previous (low value) comment. Instead, here's some helpful advice:

If you're having trouble finding them (like I was), try heading to the northern portion marked on your map. You're looking for a vividly green plant. Check close to structures because sometimes they'll be obscured by half-buried pyramid blocks. More than one seemed smaller than the others, half buried by a sand dune.

Pickly Plum are objects on the ground (like herbs)
Collect them in the area to the west

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Creeping DeathVol'dun · Level 30-60

Scorposhi venom usually induces a slow, creeping death. It's remarkable that your friend has survived this long. As with most antivenoms, the thing that kills is also the thing that heals. I'll need to extract the venom from several scorpashi stingers to craft the cure.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Effective AntivenomVol'dun · Level 30-60

The salve is ready. I work fast. Hopefully faster than the scorpid poison. Take this antivenom to your friend and see that he swallows every last drop. You should know within moments if it's been effective.
