Out in the Fields

Out in the Fields is a quest for level 80 in The Ringing Deeps. It is step 7 of 9 in the Sanity's Rest storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Ringing Deeps at 68.4, 96.5. It rewards 11,750 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

If Trixxie has those bots ready, then all we gotta do is mark where they needa work.

Head out, fire a flare, and deploy those tin cans--an' see if they actually, yanno, work.

Watch for glitchy servos, smokin' coolant vents... You know the drill.

If they start doin' their work? Great.

If not, well... I might be callin' some workers back in to clean up.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Rocket RollThe Ringing Deeps · Level 80

That scrap was just what I needed. An' now without those bloodfeasters givin' me the heebie jeebies, I can get these bots officially rolled out. While I finish up here, why don't you go tell Benny the good news? I'm sure he'll wanna deploy 'em right away!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • "Worm" Food No MoreThe Ringing Deeps · Level 80

We've got the bots workin' the fields, but there are still flesh-an'-blood workers out there. They need to be able to get back here safely, an' they can't do that with a giant, slobberin' "worm" doggin' their steps 'cause it's got a taste for goblin meat.
