Description

Well, it's time. I'll be holding the recitation at the mine entrance. I'll see you there, though don't feel obligated to stay the whole time.

I'll leave my book for Haimaz to find. She'll take care of it.

After the ceremony, I would like to say goodbye properly. Meet me by the bridge outside of town. I'll head there after the recitation.

So when I first tried to do this quest, once I got the "take your seat and we can begin" part, anytime I clicked on the stool, it would say "No available seat" or something to that effect. I ended up having to reload my UI, and it still didn't work. However, if you wait a few minutes, eventually it will let you sit down on the stool. If reloading doesn't work, best bet would be to try a soft relog. If that doesn't work, exit the game entirely, then log back in. It should work then. :)

The entire area becomes darker if you listen to his story, and it is absolutely gorgeous with it being darker. The place looks hideous in the default light now. I wish WoW wasn't afraid of the dark in modern times, because it looks horrible, especially compared to how great it looked during this quest.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Sip of CinderThe Ringing Deeps · Level 73-75

Now there's one last thing we need. It wouldn't be a proper recitation ceremony without mead. However, Hearthkeeper Zirc tells me the last couple deliveries of cinderbrew haven't arrived. It seems the local flayers in the Rumbling Wastes have a taste for it and raid the shipments.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • On the RoadThe Ringing Deeps · Level 73-75

This is the only road to the elevator, he should have been here by now. Unless... he didn't take the road! He wouldn't want to be seen. He has no idea how dangerous the deeps can be. We have to find him!
