Having done this quest many times over the last few years I was mystified to find that the items were not in their usual locations after 6.0.2 (their "glow" effect has also changed to a subtler outline rather than a big sparkly particle effect). Their spawn location is no longer the same each time you do the quest. I did this twice on different toons and found that the items moved, but all were in the main room (with the forge), not the second room with the shaman trainer etc.
Boar Meat - (main room) the first time it was on the table near the Rogue trainer, then the next time it was on the table near the Paladin trainer, right next to the Beer and Cloaks.
Cloaks - (main room) a square wooden box, sitting on the floor near the Paladin trainer (both times near the Beer).
Beer - (main room) a wooden cask (not a mug!) sitting on the floor near the Paladin trainer, next to the table on which I found the Boar Meat and Cloaks.
If you don't find these items in the main room, continue searching into that second room as their spawn location may now be highly variable. Just remember you're looking for 2 wooden box-like things, and a chewed leg of meat on the table. All have a muted yellow outline rather than a sparkle effect.

That dwarf woman Jona told me that most of your personal belongings have been moved inside Anvilmar. Please gather what you'll need, finish up any affairs that remain, and return to me when you're prepared for takeoff.

D-d-did you see that? How the whole cave just crumbled like that? I guess it's good that you got here when you did, and not a minute earlier. While this development makes my job of monitoring the cave entrance much easier, I imagine it makes it a lot harder for you to get to Kharanos.
