Pardon Our Dust

Pardon Our Dust is a quest for level 10-51 in Bastion. It is step 3 of 8 in the Eternity's Call storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Bastion at 42.1, 78.2. It rewards 3,500 experience and money.

Description

Ah yes, the Greeter.

It seems this Mnemis unit has been deactivated. Anima has been so scarce of late, and with no new souls entering our gates... I suppose it was a prudent measure. Anima is our most precious resource, after all.

There are some centurions nearby. A portion of their anima could serve our needs.

Ah! One of our most helpful stewards is here to lend her aid. She will guide you in the collection effort.

Return when you have sufficient anima and we will power the Greeter once more.

If you mount during this quest you lose the barrel.

So if you're anything like me and think the big metal guy in the back is the Greeter and not something you're supposed to drain, don't mount to go find others. Just suck him dry.

If you do mount, you can just pick up the barrel again.

To complete this quest you need to collect enough anima to fix the Greeter.
First, pick up a barrel that provided by npc in front of Kyrain Colossus, it allows you to store anima.
Now, interact to both Goliath Watchers and Kyrain Colossus to collect as much anima as needed.
