So you're trying to figure out how to get the new player housing decor item that this quest rewards.
Then you should probably be aware that this quest and the entire chain leading up to it is Worgen race locked. Which means you will have to create a new Worgen toon from scratch to do this quest.

For those farming housing decor:
You are NOT able to do this on your main character.Create a lvl 1 worgen and start in Gilneas not exile's reach.(mage went quite fast) Follow the story untill you completed the quest to rescue 4 sailors form the ocean. After this go to Gwen Armstead in Duskhaven take all 3 quests she gives.
Make sure to complete 'The Hayward Brothers' and the 'The Crowley Orchard' quest lines before doing the 'Grandma Wahl' quests. All 3 quest lines needs to be completed.
This way you will save Grandma last and get the 'Ready to go' quest needed to unlock the housing decor.
If you however managed to mess up the order or came to read this comment to late and you now have either: 'Horses for Duskhaven' or the 'Escape by Sea' quest, simply abandon it and go pick up the Ready to go Quest from Grandma Wahl.DO NOT turn inn 'Horses for Duskhaven' or 'Escape by Sea' to Gwen Armstead, if you do then you need to remake a new lvl 1 worgen character and start again (like i had to).
Afther this, if you go north east of Gilneas city and complete the 'Last MeaL' Last Meal you wil also unlock [item=245518]
If you were sucessful, you wil be able to purchase [item=245620] and [item=245518] from [npc=50307] and [npc=252520] in Darnassus .
This is the quest given when you rescue Grandma Wahl last. The others you could get are Horses for Duskhaven by rescuing [npc=36457] last or Escape By Sea by rescuing [npc=36456] and his brothers last.

What to do
Description
I suppose now is as good a time to leave as any. I have my best outfit, my favorite book and my loving cat. I hope I'm not forgetting anything. Tell that mayor of yours that I'll be on my way. I suppose I'll see you in town with the others!

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Horses for Duskhaven
Saving the horses might've saved the rest of the town. They have plenty of carriages in Duskhaven, but not enough horses to pull them. Go tell Mayor Armstead that the horses you saved are at her disposal. I'll get things ready and join you in a bit.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Escape By Sea
Thanks for your help, <name>. This ship is ready to sail. Now you go and tell Miss Armstead that we're not going to be part of the land evacuation. We Haywards have been men of the sea for generations. If we're to leave our home, then we'll do so by sea.
