The Blade in the Night

The Blade in the Night is a quest for level 60 in Korthia. It is step 4 of 19 in The Power of Night storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Maldraxxus at 42.1, 23.3. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Though my hunt has been arduous, I have two promising leads on additional Night Warriors. The first is here in Maldraxxus.

This tower contains records of those who arrived in Maldraxxus, including someone referred to as "The Blade in the Night." I believe this to be our next Night Warrior.

I encountered many traps on the way here. Doubtless we will find more within the tower. Someone is trying to stop us.

We will not let them succeed.

Each time I clicked on a tome that had a silver looking like button on it, (the image at the bottom) the one straight in front of me, on the floor/carpet was safe

Either I was extremely lucky or that is the trick

Went 3/3 without triggering any traps

So *!@#ing stupid, some tomes spawn mobs, some blow you up and you die to a graveyard that is 5000 yds away,,,

More proof that some devs at Blizzard are braindead...besides the runes that can kill you, mobs freeze you in place when you die.
