EDIT: I don't see anything in the hotfix notes, but the quest is showing up again fortunately.
As of the 12.0 pre-expansion patch, the Silver Hand Squire isn't handing out this quest anymore. Furthermore, Visions of a Shadowed Sun still shows up in the Adventure Guide under Suggested Content, but clicking on Accept Quest does nothing. Seems to be bugged right now that the quest isn't available.
Vareesa has some sass for you if you're a Horde character who's done the Purge of Dalaran questline: "Hello, 'Champion'. I never forget a face. I remember what you did at Dalaran during the Dominance Offensive."
She doesn't say that bit for Horde who haven't done it.
If anyone has an Alliance character that has done it, I'd be interested to know if she says anything different.
